I can't imagine the mental strain in scripting these dialogues in different characters. 😢At some point consistency to their characters will be very hard. For this episode I would have preferred a downtime with the Four (Celestia). And for future episodes the celebs would just be NPCs or villains like Rick and Dalter. Character voice is generally something that gets easier the longer you work on a project. You have more experience and history working with said characters so you become more intimately familiar with them as you go. Since these are already famous celebrities, with recognizable personalities, and you have the different DnD classes to use as archetypes, you have a pretty strong base for individual characters voices to begin with.

@@BookmakerMakes in books, as for the exhanges I read, are mostly dialogues. And typically dialogues between two characters are simply in the framework that they agree towards each other or have conflicting values. As for this DND playscript that every characters react to every event that they are in, scripting their every actions and reactions will be very hard, especially when AI Guy decides to have another addition, at some point inconsistencies will show. As for audience investment. I say have 4 is the sweet spot. We can only invest One or Two of them.

LOVING this series! The AI voice for Theo was much better this episode than it was for the previous one. To my ear its still least accurate out of the bunch though. I think it might have to do with the way Theo inflects his voice while speaking that the AI has trouble matching since its just not about tone/pitch.

Hey mate. Quick request/feedback etc. In dnd there's tonnes of interesting spells that almost never get used..detect magic, purify food, find the path, augury, comprehend language, minor illusion, alarm shape water etc...Don't get me wrong. I love a good fireball or rage as much as the next nerd but I thought, with the help of AI, this could be a good opportunity to use some of those rarer ones. I don;t mean just in quirky way, I mean in a 'omg did that knock spell just save the day' kinda way. Just a thought.

I really love the show and Joe paints such a vivid picture 💪 although can't the AI please give us visuals? 🫣 Theres a lot of levels going on here as well, cos they are a bunch of "people" sitting at a table playing d&d, with characters and all, and only interacting with the world through Joe, but are affected by the world they're playing in. Celestia and Kobe going to get the rope, Tronald and Kobe down the pit , they were alone and the others didn't know what had happened. It's almost like Joe sometimes talks to them individually and only they hear, It's almost like they are in the d&d world already, playing a game of d&d with a very powerful wizard who can alter their minds while they're playing 🤯 or maybe I'm just stoned and reading too much into it, either way I love the show
