This guy spoke EVERY Monday night beginners at my meeting ( 127th & Ridgeland Rd. Palos Park, Il. The Lemont Oaks Group) Listened to him for my first 5 years. Instrumental in saving my life. While did not know him personally, he was in my chain. Talked with him a few times. Much respect for Frank Milos.

That's amazing. I'm Brazilian and I don't have much access to AA, they are not close to my home, so... I love these tapes, and Frank M. is one of my favorites. 1y and 6m sober now :)

The Oaks is also my home group. My sponsor also sponsored my father throughout the late 80s into the early 00's. Truly blessed to have been introduced to the finest group of people you could ever meet. 5/19/22 is my sobriety date.

This was a fantastic talk! 🙏 Thank you for posting. I was Blessed and priveledged to have talked to Frank M., when I was a speaker seeker for my Home Group about 20 years ago, and then I finally met him at his group in Chicago about 15 years ago. Somehow our conversation transitioned from me asking him to speak, to what I was going through personally at that time, and he allowed me to call him again months down the road after that, and spent about 45 minutes on the phone with me each time. As busy as he was, and as far away from me as he lived at that time, he really didn't have to do that, but he did. All I can tell you is that God really used him Powerfully to help me immensely at a pivotal time in my life. I'm not sure if he's still alive, but he is/was a genuinely tremendous guy, and one of my heroes, for sure. Thanks again so much for posting, and God Bless you. 🙏

That is what AA is about about. Taking action and helping a fellow alcoholic

Great example of the “one alcoholic helping another alcoholic” really works every time. We just want too be sober and loved for ourselves.

Guy goes to AA desperate and in need of help. Gets kicked out. Yeah sounds like AA. They care more about themselves than the sick and suffering alcoholic
