In this share, Dave talks about his experiences as a talented, troubled teen that made his way through the ranks as a musician, all while battling the disease of addiction. He talks about finding Cocaine Anonymous through a series of rehab stays. In the end, he describes how he finally latched on to recovery, and how much better his life is because of it. This CA share is definitely worth the time you'll invest listening to it.

Also, thank you for sharing! Dave M & I shared the sponsor he talks about in this share. A very good man named Craig S. That I'm sure has some CA audio recordings in the world. Craig helped a great many addicts & alcoholics before leaving this Earth, and touched a lot of lives.

A VISION FOR RELATIONSHIPS [ by Christopher 'OZZIE' Glow ] Please help me to understand that sex is never a purely physical act. People have feelings. To use someone for physical gratification is to misuse Gods gift to me and devalues the other person entirely. Please help me to avoid the vulnerable. To have the correct vision of my value to them by directing them to someone better able to help and understand them if I can not. If you see fit for me to know someone intimately or sexually, please help me to be most interested in their spiritual growth and character. Help me to see them as my equal, treating women with dignity and respect at all times. When I fail in my vision or fall short from this ideal please grant me daily the areas needed to correct my behavior and minimize the suffering of others. PLEASE GUIDE AND DIRECT MY CONDUCT AT ALL TIMES Written in 1994 at Age 22 **** A married man/woman has the same right to control his/her own body as does an unmarried man/woman ****

I'd say weed was a gateway drug, but really rock n roll was a gateway into weed. Weed led to other stuff like coke, research chemicals, etc. All of those things were nothing compared to alcohol. I brought myself to the brink with alcohol. I'm not completely sober, but I definitely cannot drink. Kratom has helped me a lot, even weed. Microdosing mushrooms as well has been beneficial. I still find many of the stories of AA extremely useful, and oftentimes hilarious!
