Thank You for the videos of your Hikes in the Mournes, They bring back Happy memories of days spent there with my Dad over 50 years ago, Sadly my walking days are over after a car crash in 1975. We are originally from Banbridge, Now living in The Highlands of Scotland to be close to our family, just 20 miles from John O'Groats. Your videos make me so Homesick for the Mournes, Thank You . Thanks for watching George, glad the videos bring back good memories. We love the highlands too, spent over 3 weeks there in 2016, visited Mull, Skye and did the NC500. Will go back again when this covid has gone. Regards, Ashley

Cracking walk Ashley, it looked really tough with some steep ascents & descents. I was knackered just watching it, ha! I bet it was a relief to get back to the car. Great stuff. Cheers. Eddie.

Thanks for watching and commenting Eddie. I suppose I'm clinging on to youth by my fingernails!! Hoping to go back in 2 weeks again to try a totally different set of peaks. Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures. Regards, Ashley

Ashley, lots of 'tight' climbing on that route, which makes it one of the best 😊 A cracking walk with some of the best view in the Mournes which it looks like all 3 of you thoroughly enjoyed 😊

Oh yes, we enjoyed it big time but the Mournes are tough. Hoping to do a 7 peaks walk in 2021. Thanks for watching, Gerry, regards, Ashley

Haha, Mrs Metalman is the same - stay in touch, keep sending me updates....dam difficult when there is no signal for miles lol. Looked a canny pull up there mind but worth it from the views from Slieve Binnian and good going at 2.2km per hour. You sounded shattered when you got back to the car, I think Andrea made the right call going on a course, cheers Alan

I was shattered! Young legs make it look easy - James was always looking back and waiting for me but there's no substitute for experience and wisdom!! Thanks for watching. Regards, Ashley

Was lamagan as hard as people say ? Compared to say climbing bearnagh ?
@ashleyjarnold3 жыл бұрын
Lianne, the main problem when climbing Lamagan from the Binnian side is there is no path, so it is tough. But if you go straight up, steadily, it is fine. Bernagh in my view is easier as there's a proper path most of the way. The only was for you to know is to try it!! Regards, Ashley
