Thanks Jason. I don't like carpetgrass but I have a lot. I admit I thought it was Centipede and sprayed ir with Celcius. It took about 20 days and it killed it grave yard dead. Trust me no second app is needed. I have a mess. Learned the hard way brother. Your video poured salt on my wound. The kicker on the seed head you talked about is good to know. Great video Jason.

Hey jason, i just sprayed some carpetgrass in my st augustine lawn. Can i apply fertilizer to help the st augustine spread quicker to fill in while the carpetgrass dies?

I have centipede grass(1 acre). I have carpet grass and Bahia grass in big patches mixed in my lawn. I have Celsius and it does work. My yard is looking terrible. I was spraying with my back pack sprayer for Lespedeza not knowing that I had so much of the other grasses(weeds)' Big brown patches of dead grass(weeds) but not the centipede. So my question is how to get rid of the remaining grassy weeds without my yard looking so terrible? I did not use pre emergent this year. I used Prodiamine 2 years ago and stopped using it because I thought it would not let my centipede tack down and spread. With so much grassy weeds Im wondering do I go back to pre emergent. Your thoughts please. Love your channel

My 3 acre lawn is 80% carpet grass, 10% centipede and 10% lespedeza. When fertilized and mowed right the carpetgrass blends in well with the centipede. I can't find anything that will kill the lespedeza with out killing the carpetgrass.

Changeup works decently on the lespedeza. I got this from another one of his videos and have used it in my lawn

Carpet grass blooms in fall and has purple flowers and is shallow rooted. White long shoots with seeds

ANY IDEAS?? About a month ago I used Celsius WG for the weeds on my St. Augustine/Bermuda grass. It did a great job killing several types of weeds. However, it appears to have stunted the growth to about 90% of the St. Augustine and at the same time left the Bermuda unharmed. I double/triple checked the application amounts of herbicide, surfactant and dye TK make sure I didn’t use too much and it all checked out. Don’t get me wrong, it’s kinda nice not having to mow the entire yard twice a week in this Southeast Texas heat (haha) but the grass that is growing leaves the yard looking like I cut it blindfolded

You may just have to spray lightly on St Augustine Lawns even if it's on the label

Can Celsius be used on Emerald Zoysia? I seem to have some yellowing on my Emerald Zoysia when used, and though Celsius lists various types of Zoysia grass as being safe, they do not list Emerald Zoysia.

I spray it on Emerald Zoysia though I am not looking to overrule the label. I would just spray lightly especially in hot weather
