Up to our EARS in POOP? (living with goats, chickens, pigs, turkey)

We've got over 30 animals on our miniature farm in the city. What the heck do we do with all this poop? How do you manage the poop? Do the pigs and goats tend to poop in one place, or all over? The sheep too? Do we rake it up or leave it where it is to fertilize? Does it smell?
Hi there! 👋🏻 We live on a 1-acre farm right in the middle of the busy city of Phoenix, Arizona! Our names are Kevin & DaNelle, and we moved here in 2009, when our kids Ethan & Lydia were just 6 & 4 years old 🥰 Over the years we've raised goats for milk, chickens for eggs, built a fish/swim pond, planted fruit & nut trees, and grew a large garden full of veggies. We've also raised a bunch of other animals like pigs, sheep, turkeys, geese, peacocks, and more!
Now that our kids are away at college, we have settled into doing what we love most -- which is raising & breeding goats ethically to improve genetics. But don't worry, we'll forever love our goofy pet goats like Luna the herd queen & Willow the stump lover. We also still love raising chickens for eggs, gardening, tending to the fruit & nut trees, and growing fish in the pond. We use the fresh goat's milk to make cheese, butter, yogurt -- and we use that + everything else we harvest on our little farm to make delicious meals. Having a getaway from the busy world right in our backyard brings so much joy to us each day, and we hope it brings some to you, too. 🥰

I completely understand about the poop. Our family has 4 adult rabbits and 2 new baby's and my mom loves to use their poop to make a compost to put into her vegetable and flower garden.

We had 2 horses on an acre and yes, they do poop a lot. But we attached heavy chains to a board and would drag it behind our 4 wheeler to break it down, similar to what you do. And it was never an issue. We did it like once a week.

Being out in the heat salt helps. Thats why they salt sunflower seeds. When i first did roofing with my big brother the heat got to me and he gave me a salt pack from Wendys and a cup of water because he was out of salt pills. I was fine in about 15 minutes. Didn't know if you salted or if you knew why they salt them so much. Just thought I'd share. Love your vid's

I really love breakfast for dinner, i try to do that once a month. Kevin you really love those pigs don’t you. the mineral stall is shaping up, its a work in progress. is there a way you could rework the milking area so you have a tad more space with the existing fencing? maybe get a few more pallets? luna is a cougar, lol. she is looking good, she walks like a pregnant sailor, what a trouper with the milking.
