Newbery weekend! What a great idea! Well, I have some more recent books by Cynthia Voigt on hold at the library. I want to delve deeper into her books since I remembered her book, Dicey's Song, for thirty years since reading it as a child.

I like the change to quarterly for the book club. It will be so much easier to keep up with. Simon Sort of Says is an amazing book. I read it for MGM last year and it was one of my two favorites.

Spencer Eff, thank you for the book in verse recommendation. I love books in verse and survival stories. ( The Canyon's Edge) Because of this chat I now have 2 additional books on my March TBR and I know I can't read all of them. Some will have to wait till next year. Hopefully you see this. 😊

I am currently reading Homecoming by Cynthia Voigt which is the first book in a series which I remember reading book two of during my 6th grade year. I plan to read book 2, called Dicey's Song, next week.
