It is so worth it. It changes your life for the better. I know that I will live now and she my children get married and have children. Just do your research on your surgeon and get references. Mine was excellent and the hospital was the best. Skill is more important than bedside manner but they should listen to you and answer all of your questions. Make sure they have a prescribed post op diet and follow-up. Mine has a post op support group monthly with a psychologist.
