The prompt for this week, "Rollin’ Rollin’ Rollin’", is to build a coaster which once it rolls in any direction, can never return to 0 banking at any point, no additional restrictions! Custom scenery / any coaster style / terrain editing is allowed!

Thought of a couple contest ideas that would be cool to see in future weeks (would be happy to judge as well if interested): 1. A spin on the “Seaside Park” concept where a coaster is built for a fictional boardwalk park with strict boundaries/templates 2. A Google maps view of an area of an amusement park (your choice) is shown and the goal is to built a rollercoaster that would fit the location and current lineup as if it was an upcoming addition 3. Take a current RMC and revert it back to a wooden coaster, but make it a modern version of that manufacturer, where applicable 4. Design a coaster that beats the current U.S. inversion record of 9, as an added challenge/joke have it be what could’ve gone in place of Steel Curtain if the park went with another manufacturer

I'm a big fan of 3 I'll probably add that to my list! I can probably make 4 work in some form as well, not as sure about 1 & 2 atm just cause theres a lot of contests like that out there already and I try to make these prompts a little more abstract than a typical contests bc of the short format but who knows, maybe one of those will show up someday as well. I'll let you know!

@@intim305 I like the idea of the inversion one or a similar layout constraint i.e. it must have x amount of airtime or maybe an element list with a height and length limit.

i did not notice that support clip., also the ending of the hyper is kinda bad because I was lazy, and the holding brake on both was meant to make sure they dueled but it didn't work out and the thing with the roll into a air hill and a air hill into a roll wasn't intentional

So to confirm, track can be flat until there is the first bank on the ride ye? I'm planning to have an Icon style launch into an airtime hill and wanna know if that'd be okay. After that it'll all be banked and not hitting a 0 point anywhere on the ride :D

So what if i wanted to switch directions like a s curve would that be a issue also i assume that brake runs can be 0 banking

s curves would be a no-go cause it would pass through 0, you have to invert to swap sides like that. blocks can be 0 yes

you just have to roll over with an inversion any time u want to bank the other way

really don´t like the eurofighter. It´s too drawn out ant not rrealistic. On the flipside, i really like the flow and the shaping of the elements on it.

a lot of the entries i get in these contests are some of the first coasters they've ever made or very early ones at least. Its about seeing the ideas even if the execution isn't all the way there yet

It's hard to make something perfectly realistic when you're constrained by having to make it an eclipse lmao, and yes the drop and roll probably isn't what gerstlauer would do but the corkscrew is modelled on takabisha and the overbanks on karacho.

yea the vision is totally there, and its called nolimits for a reason, not a huge deal if it isnt picture perfect anyways, especially in just a week
