Week 17 - 1985: San Antonio Gunslingers vs Houston Gamblers

I was at this game as I was visiting my grandparents that summer. My dad took my brother and I to the game. Sucked not seeing Jim Kelly (as I was a high school QB), but was cool to see the Gamblers destroy the Gunslingers.

The Houston Gamblers were the best pro football team Houston ever had.

Disagree, but they were fun to watch! Coach Pardee's Run-and-Shoot, Jim Kelly, just being in the 'Dome, etc. Great times!

USFL Forever Yeah no wonder they went out of buisness sadly. It would be cool to see them around today though. Imagine Jamis Winston going to USFL over the NFL

I agree. It would have been great to see qb's and other players jumping leagues.

@Greg's Retro Channel 2 If they would have stayed the course they would be their own entity keep the NFL on their toes bc the players would have an alternative to go to.
