@Cochlear India , thank you Jaspal ma’am my son is 6 now n his hearing age is 3 now.. when my son wants to say something he messed up his clarity.. still all his sounds has not come yet .. Thank you so much your videos are helpful to me.. you tell with high patience

Since your child is already six years old, you can consult a speech language pathologist for articulation therapy.

Thank you Jaspal mam for making such a wonderful video. I have a request to you if you can make a video for my son currently 22 months old. Brief history of my son; He has bilateral ANSD due to neonatal jaundice. Using hearing aids since 6months old and his unilateral implant was done at 18 month. So his hearing age is 3month. He is taking Avt therapy from Chandana Bose in Kolkata weekly class past one year. I would be really thankful if you make a video for my son.

Kishalay! Thanks for reaching out to me for help and providing the details of your child’s hearing journey. Your child belongs to the same group for 40 weeks series. So, please, follow the same goals and tips. But your child will show progress at his/her own pace. Follow your therapist’s instructions for home training. Track the child’s progress in language acquisition and listening skills development. Experience book is very effective in these cases. Ask your therapist to help you to make the Experience book of your child. Above all, keep your patience and hopes. Wish you all the best.

Mychild repeats everything without listening,how can we make him listen properly n then answer

If your child is repeating your language, he is listening but not understanding the language. Stop asking too many questions. Give him commands and instructions when he has to follow with an action and not answer. Use meaningful language. Read stories to him. Stop testing and try conversations.

Mam my sin implant age is 10 months. ,he is near to 4yr age,he understands simple language very well n little bit complicated language.he was able to answer ih haan and nahi.he is not trying to speak n shows some laziness in speaking,what we do??

It seems that your son has received the implant after the age of three years and has not yet completed one year of therapy. Is that right? In that case, work on understanding more language. I don’t think that he is lazy to talk. May be he doesn’t know what to say or there is no need to communicate. Create the need to communicate in daily routines.
