Love watching your videos. Great idea to alternate between pocket pages and regular pages to keep the photos from “sticking” to each other. Thanks

Thanks Jacquie! I'm happy I did it this way this year and will likely continue next year the same way. It also makes for quick page-making.

Thanks Cheryl! As you've probably noticed, I also love that rick rack border die. I use it all the time on so many projects. So I'm super happy you find it versatile like I do.

Always love the planner page videos, Annette! I wasn't sure about the green accents at first, but again, you came up with the perfect little accompanying ephemera! Also, a perfect length video for busy holiday weekends😊

Thanks Marie. I wasn't sure about the green either! Glad you liked it. I was happy in the end too.

Anther great page Annette. Friends from a distance still coming together is the best. It’s great to have that happening again isn’t it? COVID sucked away that joy in our lives. I love all the shapes you used in this one. I have all those dies and yet still haven’t mastered using them to create so much interest on my pages. This one has left me with so many ideas. 💡 thanks as always!

Thanks so much Celine. I'm glad you found some helpful ideas and inspiration in this week's page. And yes, we are so grateful to be back to spending time with those we love without the worry of Covid anymore. Time is precious and we try to enjoy every moment.

Super page and video, Annette!!! So great that you had friends come to visit. Hope your weather was good. We are in a very wet stretch here on the West coast. Oh well. We never have good Memorial Day Weekends. Thank you and take care!

Thanks so much Carole. The weather was great the whole time we had visitors, then after everyone left, the skies opened up and we had a big thunderstorm and hail and more rain today. We got lucky.

Page looks great as usuall. Next time you have friends visiting you, ask if they can wear neutral colours🤣🤣🤣. just kidding, great solution to bring back the green back in the page. I often put something partial over it so it doesn't show up that much.
@AnnetteGreen6 ай бұрын
Thanks Yvonne. And no joke, I have (many times) in the past made sure we wore certain colors, knowing that I was going to use a certain paper collection we had to match. I'm sure I'm not the first memory-keeper to do that!
@ellenmcmahon44596 ай бұрын
Great video! Not sure if this question makes sense but What is the easiest way to back a single side paper with another paper when doing the pages? Glue seems to warp the page.
@AnnetteGreen6 ай бұрын
Thanks. I have often adhered two different papers together if I'm not happy with one side. I use mostly tape runner for a large part of the paper's surface, but add a bead of liquid glue around the outer edges to get a good seal. If I have any warping at all, I press my base page under a heavy book for a hour or so (sometimes overnight if I have the time) before building any elements onto the page. This seems to work quite well for me. It's also possible that the glue you're using is too wet (contains too much water). I use Art Glitter Glue as my liquid glue. Shaking the bottle before using it helps to distribute the water and glue ingredients. The other question I would have is, are you pages warped before you even glue them together? If so, you may need to adjust the plate combination you're currently using for your die-cutting machine. I hope this helps answer your question. If not, feel free to elaborate further.

I am wondering if it will look ok if I do double page layouts (that’s what I do for my grandchildren’s journals with ECD planner
@AnnetteGreen6 ай бұрын
Absolutely! If I didn't think it would take 4 planners to fill the whole year, I would do 2-page layouts for my weeklies too. If you're simply scrapbooking occasional memories during the year, I think 2-page layouts would be really nice.
@jacquelinegirouard29136 ай бұрын
@@AnnetteGreen yes, I only do monthly layouts, that’s why I do 2-page layouts to have more pictures.
