use some kind of dowel in the screw holes , it will help give the screws something to bite on.

If your screws are no longer holding in the floor, just rotate the table base a few degrees, so that the holes fall in between the old ones. Then you can drill all new pilot holes, and every screw will be guaranteed a good grip. 🙂

It's unseasonably warm here in the Albuquerque area too, but not as much as where you are. It should be a bit cooler all around in the next few days. What shape is the floor of your trailer in around that spot where your table support is?

it is a flat plywood, vinyl covered area. It feels and sounds stout when I tap around.The gray water tank is directly underneath the trailer where the stand is mounted. I can't see or access the condition of the bottom of the plywood flooring.

@@WadeQuick I was just wondering if (and this is assuming your fix doesn't work... which I hope it does) you might screw that receptacle/receiver onto a piece of board and then screw/bolt that onto the floor.

That is option 2. There is a rust circle with a wider diameter that suggests a larger diameter base was used in the past. Screwing down a plywood base using that diameter, and mounting the casting to the new material is a good idea
