Seeing the Richard Western trailer brings back memories, Richard and I attended the same school together in the 1950's.

Out of all the times I've looked for farming vids, I can't believe I've never seen your channel until now and your based not to far from me. As an avid farming simulator fan, watching real life farming is just awesome. Happy farming.

Great looking combine Andy - you certainly look after it well, which must pay dividends - nothing like good regular maintenance / servicing. Throughly enjoying your harvesting videos - excellent.

your cracking on with harvest down there m8, here it's just a f**K up! managed to finally get going last Wednesday afternoon (7th) he's managed to get nearly 50 acres of OSR cut but that's been it, since Friday (9th) it's been unsettled as soon as you think it's starting to dry up along comes a nice heavy shower. Forecast isn't great for here more unsettled weather so unless the weather people get it wrong I can't see the combine coming back out this week.

Andy, with the winter maize done the local farmer has ploughed around the headland but only done straight strips across the fields about 12m apart with the rest so far untouched. Whats the idea behind it? Learning a lot from you thanks.

Take the head up when it gets late in the day and take less straw with the grain, that will make it go much smoother.

Great video andy, why is the hood down on the chopper and your not chopping? How much have you dried this year so far,? How much moisture content do you have before you stop drying?
@Itsafarminglifeforme5 жыл бұрын
Hi Layton, the only time we have used the drier is for the spring barley this week and that has to be stored below 14.5 % I just didn’t bother putting the chopper hood back up 👍

A desperate Angus farmer spots his combine driver stopped on the headland so dashes into the grain field with his land rover runs alongside the now mobile harvester jumps on opens the door screams at the driver what the f. were you stopped for driver says I was desperate for a piss farmer says get out of the cab and starts to demonstrate how it should be done steering the combine with his right hand whilst pissing at the same time then on his way off the machine shouts time is money.
