Bro, just a small thing I think you can fix, the fore head connecting the head and hair, you have drawn it reaching towards outside, and if you look the forehead connecting to hair in the picture you used as ref, you can see the head is curving inside, basically I recommend you draw the entire head structure first, and then draw hair on top of it like a layer, like imagine ur bald, and then put a cloth on top of your head forming like a hair. This should help. Try drawing the structure like the complete head first, and drae hairs on top of it based on the head structure instead of just drawing just the face and connecting it to hair . I hope my explanation is understandable cz I am bad at explaining

Thanks for the advice. Hair has been tricky for me. What you said on drawing hair make sense and will give it a try. I also hope to look into some videos on hair construction because it feel all over the place sometimes. Thanks again.

Keep going man, i've also been stuck watching tutorials for illustrating/animating for multiple hours and eventually realized (just like you did) that I just needed to start drawing. The best way in my opinion is to "just do it" which is sort of cheesy and also has no clear direction but so does endlessly staring at different tutorials for multiple hours. The best way I found learning mainly based on youtube is to stick to one "part" for drawing at a time - such as the basics of drawing shapes, then maybe going into some anatomy, etc. I can't remember the videos but there are videos on youtube and free deals on udemy sometimes that have a great planned path for people to go on (for udemy, just make sure to check it out once in a while because sometimes they will have 90-100% deals on their website for a limited time). Hope this helped (if not I apologize).

Thanks for the suggestion. I've fallen for the endless tutorials before which is why I dont want to get carried away with watching them. I find them good for giving a directions to go but like you said the best way to see how to is by doing it. Ill look into udemy and see if there any good free videos or good deals. Thanks again.

The drawing is actually good! Is just that the back head is way too big, so just make it skinnier like in the reference. :)

Thanks for the support, Ill be doing some more comparing afterwards to see how close it lines up to the reference.
