the video was shot in toronto in the winter that's why rihanna and drake wore winter jackets when they arrived at the jamaican restaurant. toronto has a huge caribbean community so it was the perfect location. director x/little x is a famous hip hop director who has worked with huge names like drake, sean paul, usher, 50 cent, etc. he was huge in the 00s and has a similar video to this one with sean paul called get busy.
