I am sending my support to you. I am really happy that you found this channel because she shares really good information. She has a really good attitude too, an amazing person to me. Treat yourself nice for your Treatment, bring snacks, books, and maybe even a Nintendo to get your mind off things. I am also a Vlogger too. (ノ^ヮ^)ノ*:・゚✧ 🌸

I pray that you'll doing well. I am Triple Negative, as well. My treatments have been harder...hospital visits, etc. I recently found you channel. You are so through with your medications, side effects and documenting your journey. It really encouraged me. Thank you. 😊

Hi Amy! I was diagnosed 12 weeks ago with triple negative with several lymph nodes positive. I can’t get an MRI due to a bone stimulator which was placed in my back during many spine surgeries in the 90’s. I’ve had 2 chemo sessions so far. On the very same regime as you are. I still don’t have a port as they wanted to begin chemo the week it was biopsied. I have stayed away from all blogs and groups simply because I am not emotionally prepared for this. No time for dental visits, etc. You are the only one I follow. I find you truthful. Easy to follow. I can understand. I am older than the typical trip Neg patient. I am 60 years old and have never had a problematic mammogram in my past. Did you? I have not had any nausea-but such incredible bone pain! Oh my! I am taking several Claritin a day, but it isn’t doing much at all. My cheeks are always extremely bright red. They hurt. Feel sunburned. The thermometer reads 104.4 most of the time. I’ve sent the pics of my thermometer and my cheeks to the doc and I think they are perplexed. The mouth sores are bad-but I will take it any day vs the bone pain. Getting ready to lose hair. Don’t care. I am still just in shock. I use my mittens and ice socks and haven’t had any problems with neuropathy. Thankfully! I can’t imagine being so young-and with young children at home! I know you must be exhausted‼️ Know that I think of you often-and when I do, I pray. 💗

Hi Katharine. I’m glad to hear that the videos have been easy to follow. I truly didn’t want to scare people and used it to document each 1-2 weeks of chemotherapy. I was too young to get a mammogram so I never had one until I found a lump and asked the obgyn about it. I’ve gotten a lot the past year. I did not have the cheek pain like you have mentioned. That sounds so painful! I hope the doctors can help find something to relieve the pain. Have you tried acupuncture for your bone pain? I got it for other symptoms but looking back, I think it helped a little. I have a lot of empathy for you since I have also gone through this journey myself. Cry when you feel sad and laugh when you witness something funny. Don’t hold things in. Sending you lots of love.

Congrats on finishing AC!!! I've heard that weekly Taxol is much easier. I had DD Taxol, and it was worse than AC. I finished chemo the week that Keytruda was approved (figures lol) so I did not have the benefit of taking it. Congrats again!! You've got this!!

Does AC cause neuropathy? Should I wear Ice gloves and socks? does Paxotil?

AC doesn’t cause neuropathy but taxol does.

Would your Dr have suggested keytruda if you hadn't asked about it?
@j1mbo003 жыл бұрын
We went in expecting to bring it up to her doctor but before we could ask, he approached us with it. MD Anderson has made a decision to treat ALL TNBC patients in this manner (keytruda + chemo) going forward. This is their new standard treatment of care to attack TNBC. Thank God for science!

The 3rd AC chemo was the hardest for me as far as side effects (nausea) goes. Fasting may not be an option since you are pregnant... please talk to your doctor about it before you decide to do anything! I will be praying for you... being pregnant and going through this cancer journey are two challenging life events. You are strong for going through both at the same time.

I only had nausea after #1 because I started eating something small every couple of hours after that. An empty stomach made me feel sick. That trick also worked for morning sickness when I was pregnant, so that's why I thought to try it with chemo.
