For stys, I always put a warm washcloth over it a few times a day and of course avoid contacts or makeup when you have one. Also clean your makeup brushes well, change contacts, etc..too... The warm compress will help it drain and swelling will go down. and of course throw away your eyeliner, mascara that you have been using, open new ones!

exactly they dont just say not to wear makeup because it will worsen the infection but because now you have staphylococcus aureus living in your mascara tubes, eyeshadow pans, brushes, and eyeliner

I have several chronic illnesses and a few years ago I had to get shots in my eyes once a month. They would put in numbing drops and then after about twenty minutes I would get the shot in each eye.

Hi Madi! Oh I hope your stye is better! I work with eye Drs all day everyday so yes, lid scrubs, warm compresses. Johnson's baby shampoo also used for lid scrubs. Love ya!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Make some green tea, let it cool and then take a cotton round and dip it in there. Wipe your eye with the cotton round. Do that everyday until the stye is gone. The green tea reduces swelling. Do not double dip the cotton round unless you want to remake the tea every day. Hope this helps!

I am so excited for you Madi!!! Yay! I think for eye bumps I just use warm compresses (washcloths) until they go away. Normally comes from eyeliner or makeup so for sure replace your makeup and don't wear eye makeup for a while. I hope it goes away soon! 💕 As for apartments I definitely am hunting for one too in August since I am moving for grad school. I am just hoping one comes up that meets my fiancé and I's lifestyle.

For stys- washing out your eyes with Johnson and Johnson’s no more tears shampoo is what my doctor recommended, and it’s worked every time for me!
