I was and Ortho assistant for a couple of years loved it said I never wanted to do hygiene. Next thing I know I finished prerequisites while working. Applied and got into in dental hygiene program on the first try. Start my last semester in January. Really enjoying hygiene(school work part sucks) so far, satisfying removing calculus.

I’m going to dental assisting school in September. And going back to school for dental hygienist most likely after a year of being a DA.. I wanna be a periodontist assistant or either ortho. Not sure yet though. But I love your videos! You should go for DH !!

Most are 40 hour work weeks

I personally don’t get full time hours a lot of offices work Monday through Thursday and yes you will get sent home If you are not busy
