I love Texas! It has the biggest Sky I have ever seen other than Wyoming! It's diverse and has great food! Miami is dangerous, I have family there they are trying to get away from there. Either way, Texas has a lot of earthquake faults and snow in the winter, too, but I still love it!! ❤

We don't hardly ever have an earthquake, very rare to have any tornadoes or hurricanes hit the actual Dallas city area/county. Only real weather hardship is the heat, ice, and severe thunderstorms, and all are pretty avoidable.

@lolitadol I've been to Dallas once back in the mid 90's, and yes, those ⛈️ are brutal! I was in the McDonald's standing in line, and all of a sudden I heard a big boom, like a shotgun blast. I was getting ready to take cover under a table or something, then I realized no one was fazed by it. The thunder crackle is real in Dallas!!🫣😬😧

I currently live in Frisco, Texas with my aunt. I just moved here December 2022 from VA after 30 years. I’m moving into Dallas at the end of this month. If you move here, get used to the heat and use your sunscreen. My first summer here, I felt like you. It wasn’t for me. However, I’m on a faith journey. Meaning, God led me here. So, I’m adjusting. This year is better because I know what to expect.

I just moved to Dallas a year and a half ago, and here are some pros and cons. Pros: 1. Dallas is a huge city with a huge surrounding metropkex, so there's no shortage of things to do and places to explore. 2.Convwnience: Any and everything you need can be easily found. 3. Cost of living: You definitely get a bang for your buck when it comes to finding an apartment. Luxury living, at affordable prices. Gas prices are also pretty good. 4. Jobs and Networking Opportunities: There are no shortage of jobs, and networking is easy since there are always networking events happening in the city. Cons 1. The weather: Be prepared to see temperatures as high as 115 degrees with full humidity in the summertime. 2. Food: The food is good, but it lacks a bit of variety. You can find a lot of bar-b-que, texmex, and Asian food, but if you're looking for carribean food, African food, Greek food, or any other culture of food, it may be a little difficult to find. 3. Dating: This depends on you, but the dating pool here is not the best. Be prepared to run into people with weird kinks and fetishes, and those just looking to waste your time. Use discernment at all times lol. I hope this helps with making your decision about where to move.

@missDiamondgirl55 It's not just the heat. It's also the high humidity! The air gets so thick until you feel as if you're breathing through a damp washcloth! It's not uncommon to encounter WEEKS of triple digits temps at 80 to 90% humidity! The water quality is harsh. It will turn your hair strands into brittle straw! The roadways? Prepare to have to replace your car tires every 6 months! Plan on clubbing in Houston? DON'T! Other than that...

Born and raised in Dallas. In the summer you dont move around until night because of the heat. Food places and vibes: Mike Chicken-Maple Ave., Farmers Market Downtown, Att Discovery-Downtown, Trinity Groves, Grand Prarie-grand escape, Marianos for Mexican, soul food unfortunately we do not have alot of good soul food eateries but Madeas in Ft. Worth is good. Have fun and enjoy Dallas❤

Think "Southern, BBQ, Creole, African, Caribbean" not just "soul" and you'll find tons of places! Some great soul food is found in the daiquiri shops too, and wings! Check these out: Izkina Lounge on Botham Jean (WEEKEND BRUNCH!!!) Mardi Gras Cajun Cuisine on Skillman Heroes Lounge on N Stemmons Oak'd BBQ on Greenville Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken on Walnut St near Richardson or one in South Dallas past downtime (cause not all make the chicken the same way, some locations are way better than others!) The crib at 24:52 was my fave. Dallas seems nice. There’s extreme elements of nature (aka natural disasters) everywhere, some are just more extreme or more frequent than others. As someone that’s lived in Florida all my life, you truly get used to hurricane season. I’d recommend a house in Miami. If the high rise/penthouse life is what you want in Miami, maybe come up with a contingency plan to give you peace of mind in the event you have to evacuate. That way you’re not as stressed. Make sure you insure your property and keep copies of receipts in a safe place. I’m excited to see which city you pick!

Says every person living in any state. Every where is “ full” but yet housing are still being sold and apartments for rent so is it really? 😅 oh well 🤷‍♀️ it is what it is

@@EmJayAnieta It is! We don't want any of y'all here. Making the cost of living go up for us all. Of course! They're cramming new houses and apartments all over the metroplex, they city is making money. There are plenty of nice places in Oak Cliff, South Dallas, Pleasant Grove, Ft. Worth and Arlington, Grand Prairie. There are other places to move to besides DALLAS! (my main point) But, you're right. It is what it is hopefully the migrants are gone within 2-5yrs 🤣😂 that's my prayer😂🤣

Holy heck those places are expensive. I was surprised. You could rent a nice house for less. I definitely would not want to be by a freeway or a busy road. Made that mistake before. It's loud, and the exhaust is awful during rush hour.

Hello Mr. DWHO, you don’t have to be exactly in Miami try to find a better spot that’s close to it and the weather is better. I’m sure whatever choice you make will be a great one, moving is hectic but if you don’t like the spot you can always move. Glad to see a new vlog. Blessings to you!!!

Come on home to Dallas. Yes, these summers aren’t very fun, but you’ll easily adjust and during the day, everything you do will be in the air conditioner. 😂😂. However, the other 9 months are wonderful as even the winters are mainly only hoodie weather and we don’t get too much brutal cold. If it snows, it will only be around for 24 hours or so. Lots of eateries, shopping and the nightlife is straight also. Welcome !!

TX native... now in Oklahoma. I here the M districts are nice in Dallas but there are a lot of side cities worth checking. The metroplex as a whole has a lot overall. 2-3 months of heat outta 9 isnt bad. You just get used to doing things in the a.m. or at night during those months. Or you could travel then! 😊

Of all the places you’ve listed, I think Dallas would be the best choice. I personally think Miami is cool to just visit…Houston gets the bad weather,San Diego is cool, clean but very expensive…if home ownership is in sight, Dallas.

lol listen you can live a bachelor life any where anytime. I am from Miami plenty of families here. It’s all base on you as a person. On the flip side depending on on your budget it seems Dallas you can actually get more bang for your bucks so 🤷‍♀️ 😊

Bro you're definitely missing out and so are we with you holding back videos! Put them thangs OUT, I promise you we will watch WHATEVER you post, real facts! 😂 I know you want to move to a warm climate, and Dallas is nice, but too dang hot, I'm witcha on that! I posted about my experience there on your ABnB cleaning short! Maybe San Antonio and Austin's temperatures are more moderate, anyone? Houston is also ugh, extremely hot and humid as I recall. But what does everyone think? Also, if you want to move to Florida, there are more moderately priced cities (than Miami) that also don't have the same potential for extreme weather, like Orlando, Jacksonville and Tampa. Also, what about Vegas? Plus Arizona, there's Phoenix and Albuquerque, New Mexico. All these areas and their surrounding suburbs are good areas, depending on what you're looking for. Some of where you'll be happiest moving to has to do with your intended lifestyle - for example, are you bringing "sand to the beach" or planning to look? Some cities are a little better for singles. Or are you hoping to have kids in the future? Some cities are more family/kid friendly than others. God be with you in whatever you decide, and please do bring us along! ❤❤❤✨🙏🏽 PS, San Diego is great or at least it was when I spent time there in the 90s. North Carolina is also worth checking out, particularly Charlotte and Raleigh/Durham.
