I just moved to Dallas a year and a half ago, and here are some pros and cons. Pros: 1. Dallas is a huge city with a huge surrounding metropkex, so there's no shortage of things to do and places to explore. 2.Convwnience: Any and everything you need can be easily found. 3. Cost of living: You definitely get a bang for your buck when it comes to finding an apartment. Luxury living, at affordable prices. Gas prices are also pretty good. 4. Jobs and Networking Opportunities: There are no shortage of jobs, and networking is easy since there are always networking events happening in the city. Cons 1. The weather: Be prepared to see temperatures as high as 115 degrees with full humidity in the summertime. 2. Food: The food is good, but it lacks a bit of variety. You can find a lot of bar-b-que, texmex, and Asian food, but if you're looking for carribean food, African food, Greek food, or any other culture of food, it may be a little difficult to find. 3. Dating: This depends on you, but the dating pool here is not the best. Be prepared to run into people with weird kinks and fetishes, and those just looking to waste your time. Use discernment at all times lol. I hope this helps with making your decision about where to move.

As someone that’s lived in Florida all my life, you truly get used to hurricane season. I’d recommend a house in Miami. If the high rise/penthouse life is what you want in Miami, maybe come up with a contingency plan to give you peace of mind in the event you have to evacuate. That way you’re not as stressed. TX native... now in Oklahoma. I here the M districts are nice in Dallas but there are a lot of side cities worth checking. The metroplex as a whole has a lot overall. 2-3 months of heat outta 9 isnt bad. You just get used to doing things in the a.m. or at night during those months. Or you could travel then! 😊

Of all the places you’ve listed, I think Dallas would be the best choice. I personally think Miami is cool to just visit…Houston gets the bad weather,San Diego is cool, clean but very expensive…if home ownership is in sight, Dallas.

If you're looking to settle down and start a family within five years, Dallas. If you're wanting to live the bachelor life, Miami.

Neither Dallas or Miami are places to raise a family. Not by a long shot.

lol listen you can live a bachelor life any where anytime. I am from Miami plenty of families here. It’s all base on you as a person. On the flip side depending on on your budget it seems Dallas you can actually get more bang for your bucks so 🤷♀️ 😊

Seattle or Tacoma, Washington are reasonable options to visit. Moved out from California to Washington

Best of luck with your apartment hunting! I am from Michigan also, I work remotely and my lease is up in September. I am trying to figure out where I want to move to and it is such a great idea to stay in different areas to get a feel for the place. I am looking forward to watching your journey!

Bro you're definitely missing out and so are we with you holding back videos! Put them thangs OUT, I promise you we will watch WHATEVER you post, real facts! 😂 I know you want to move to a warm climate, and Dallas is nice, but too dang hot, I'm witcha on that! I posted about my experience there on your ABnB cleaning short! Maybe San Antonio and Austin's temperatures are more moderate, anyone? Houston is also ugh, extremely hot and humid as I recall. But what does everyone think? Also, if you want to move to Florida, there are more moderately priced cities (than Miami) that also don't have the same potential for extreme weather, like Orlando, Jacksonville and Tampa. Also, what about Vegas? Plus Arizona, there's Phoenix and Albuquerque, New Mexico. All these areas and their surrounding suburbs are good areas, depending on what you're looking for. Some of where you'll be happiest moving to has to do with your intended lifestyle - for example, are you bringing "sand to the beach" or planning to look? Some cities are a little better for singles. Or are you hoping to have kids in the future? Some cities are more family/kid friendly than others. God be with you in whatever you decide, and please do bring us along! ❤❤❤✨🙏🏽 PS, San Diego is great or at least it was when I spent time there in the 90s. North Carolina is also worth checking out, particularly Charlotte and Raleigh/Durham.

I'm a native Texan, and I ain't going outside unless it's directly to my car and thats only if it was auto started for at least 20 minutes, and night is approaching in the summer. Needless to say I love it!

Commenting as I watch: I see your personality more when you’re around your family & friends. Maybe picture one of them as you’re talking to the camera to help get more comfortable??
