Congrats Helen! I cannot believe your are finished, I do remember watching you the second year of TCMC and it has been a pleasure. Love your store and you and your family. I remember Linear Algebra in college and it gave me such anxiety, and I thought Calc 2 was bad! My class was 740pm to 920 pm 3x a week, that is how bad it traumatized me that I remembered the schedule from 7 years ago lol! I know those days of spending hours on one problem and just like hoping it made since. I am back in college finishing up my BS in Psych, and I will be moving on to grad school, even though I need a break. But I am 41 and I won't to have this new career all done by the time I am 45 so I can do the big things. I hope you had a wonderful and fun time in college. I really watched you grow and I feel like a proud aunt :)

I am very late watching this video, and I'm still watching it, but I just got to the part where you discuss grad school and my inner momma was so proud to hear you say you need a break! Yay for listening to your inner cues and doing what's right for you instead of pushing harder! Nearly every video I think of how much you do in a day, and sometimes I compare myself, but then I remember that I'm not in my 20's anymore, and we are all different. Some days my best is taking a shower and doing my nails cause I'm stuck in "waiting mode" and don't know what I'm waiting for. Anyways, it is always a privilege to watch your journey and will continue to watch no matter what direction you chose to go next.

I believe that taking a break is great! At first, I thought the idea of taking a gap year was for people who just want to waste time. However, I changed my perspective about gap years because I’m burnt out already, and I’m a sophomore in college. Taking a gap year before I got to Med school sounds nice so I can regenerate my mental health lol. As long as you are spending your time wisely, I believe it’s worth taking.

Congratulations! I remember the relief of no more lectures. I think I just watched movies for three days straight 😂 Ube is a very Filipino specific ingredient. It's native to the Phillipines and much loved in desserts there but only known more widely in the last few years. I think it would be a lot of pressure to go straight into another degree. Everyone is different. You know yourself better than anyone else.
