Hi Mary, if I were to go back for a second time, I would definitely stay at the place I stayed at because it is right on the beach. The other one is great if you want to be in the town are perhaps in a larger group. I hope this helps!

My husband and I had a blast a year ago when we went to Cancun for our anniversary. People were also saying it wasn't safe. We had a great time and felt safe the whole time. Such an awesome experience.
