My theory on decoration, and hear me out, is that it can start September 25th. A season has three months, summer autumn etc, so the festive season should be allowed 3 months too, hence 25 Sep. This only applies to internal decorations however, it makes me happy and doesn’t impact anyone else (my family excluded). I wait until November to do any outside decorations 😅
