Happy birthday Lauren When I was in school I had a long list too it’s been a long time since I was in school I graduated and 2012 I have cerebral palsy I was born with it I 31 now in I been watching you for a long time when your kids start school you be emotional but happy at the same time my sister have 2 boys in they start school on the 13 and she be emotional when they go to school especially on the first day of school🥲

Yes, when your child is in school, the teacher will make you buy enough for the whole class. Back in the day you would only buy school supplies for your child. Now, they ask you to buy whatever in like multiple supplies for your child's whole dam class. They want the parents to buy enough supplies for the whole school year. For example, each child will buy a packet of markers, they have all the kids dump out their markers into a big tub. So basically, all the children in the class are sharing school supplies. And this is why they do that, so my child's teacher explained to me that some children's parents are struggling with money, and they don't have enough money to buy their child school supplies. So, the child doesn't feel sad, or embarrassed they don't have school supplies like the other children. Some supplies they can keep for themselves, of course but that's why the teachers ask for a lot of school supplies on the list they hand out. Love- Jess

Not in all schools, the schools in my local area in PA are not like that at all. We don't get the school lists and we aren't expected to supply for others children. I find it crazy when I see others having to buy dry erase and all kinds of other stuff
