I did a long run “well, long for me” 8 miles. I was so proud! You inspire me. I signed up for a 5K and 10K these next few months. My goal is a half marathon. Thanks for your videos they are so wonderful! ❤

Thanks for sharing the way you are feeling, it’s refreshing hearing you being honest about how you’re feeling and how it’s ok to be flexible with your training at times x

I started training for my first marathon 2 years ago, the same time you were training for Eugene (I think) and you are my biggest motivation and inspiration. My favourite thing to do before my long run is to watch your vlogs and thank you so much for being open with your journey, whether that be peak motivation or having none at all 💕💕 I wish you so much success in your running journey but also as a content created because you have the best energy

I honestly LOVE how you edit your videos, it feels exactly how I communicate to my friends, so it’s like I’m biking or treadmill running with a friend!

Hi Nicole. Thank you for sharing. It shows that you are human and 100% relatable. As a people pleaser, I totally get it x

Yesterday I took my first unplanned rest day in my training program & I had to talk myself down from feeling guilty about it. Up early this morning to do my run & watching your video as I eat a pre-run banana lol. Thanks for the video & your honesty!

absolutely no need to feel guilty! although i know its easier said than done. sometimes the rest is more productive for your body than the workout itself :) hope you had a great run and enjoyed the vlog, love that I could be a part of your pre run routine! thank you for watching!

Man the run/speed workout anxiety is real. I really struggle with procratinating/having anxiety around runs AND with people pleasing. Just started talking with a therapist about it and MAN figuring out mental health is hard work. Thanks for sharing, super relatable. ❤️

I’m so intimidated by the long runs but taking my training one day at a time & enjoying the process (I’m running my first half in May). Thanks for showing staying on track even when you aren’t the most motivated! I’ve realized I have been having to prioritize myself a lot more recently when starting training. Saying no to happy hours, getting off my phone so I can go to sleep, prioritizing the fuel I put into my body. Feels amazing in the end 🎉 and I’ve only just started.

Just curious, what intimidates you about it? (serious question)
@thelegendofkayla9 ай бұрын
@@davecharles6286 I think I’m nervous about knowing what pace I should be going, if I am going to have it in me to mentally push through when the runs get longer, and not having the right shoes & my toe nails falling off 🤣 But now that I write those down I think it’s mainly my lack of confidence as a runner and feeling like I don’t know what I’m doing 🤪 But I’m going to try to trust the process and listen to my body 💪

Thank you for sharing your feelings about resting and feeling lazy I feel the same exact way. Currently training for a 10k and have just felt so low energy I’ve been doing low mileage around 2-3 miles and the guilt is real!

Thanks for sharing about your MH. I feel the same about other things I’m my life and it’s always nice to know I’m not alone. Take care ❤

Love that you share the highs and lows or training. I also really like watching how you film content for your partnerships. That’s for keeping it real.

Fresh vlog, post morning run is the best! ☕💻Yesss on how you upload workouts to the watch, if everybody else is into it! I think your approach, including thinking out loud and questioning the nuances of the running journey, adds such a thoughtful and valuable layer to your vlogs. Incredibly insightful into the running experience. Looking forward to the next one!! 🙂

Thanks for sharing and opening up about low motivation and anxiety during training. I found it so fresh and relatable, am really struggling at the moment with the cold dark winter mornings in London, helps to see what others are doing to help get back on track and tick each run off! Loved the lulu haul, would love to see how you organize your gym/running gear!

Of course! So important to share so others feeling the same know they're not alone. Sorry to hear you've been struggling too, but this is where the discipline and grit is built :) Even though it sucks, ha! I need to actually reorganize my run gear so maybe I'll take y'all along with!

so curious what your findings have been tracking heart rate. I've been shocked by what I mentally think is pretty easy and finding that it's tempo/threshold.
