Wow that moment when max actives oroboros, and vergil actives his blades, that moment was cool.

it replenishes health and increases damage, for dante he gets flight mode and two aerial specials and a third jump, vergil on the other hand gets a air dash and all his moves get a bigger hitbox and the timing of his moves are slightly increased so that you can do certain combos with somewhat less strict timing

Not referring to me, but I play on pad as well, in my experience I found it easiest to charge on pad by either changing L1 or L2 to L, that way you can just hold it. The usual button config for most pad players would be Type A, and you change L2 to L For me however, I take Type A and go L1 - L L2 - MH R1 - Assist 1 R2 - Assist 2 In the end it just comes down to personal preference but I highly recommend changing one of the L or R triggers to L to make it easier to charge

Ouroboros has the same disadvantage as swords. If the character is hit you go into block stun until the opponent stops.

This seems to make the most sense. I currently have R1 as Ass1 and R2 as Ass2, with an x-factor 'panic' button on L1 and LMH on L2 for push blocking. Means I'll push an extra button for push block and two extra for x-factor, but seems simple enough. I'll try this out, thanks!

It's hard to get an air grab on zero, a good zero will be option selecting throw anyway.

Max for the net code to feel better on PSN you have to play in the Danger Room training stage, it has the least lag of all stages cuz there is not much going on in the background as the others.

Max should use the light version of weskers command grab, it has more range and is easier to combo off of.

Zero & Vergil will get a lot of playtime because they are top tier characters, people see the pros using them and want to use them to be like the pros. It isn't really a platform thing, more the PS3 players whom have been waiting for Max to show up on PS3 to give it there best shot. Check out KagatoTheFinalBoss'es courtroom drama series, he plays on PS3 and plays against a wide range of players and characters.

I dont know. I think many of the players are just as skilled if anything. Max also seemed very impressed by the fact that the Zero player was able to play so well and do perfect Lightning Loops online for that matter (consistently). I am the first to mess with ppl and my friends for playing PS3, but in this case I think they did pretty well. Also considering they know their playing will be viewed by thousands of people.

max, just a suggestion, you should try giving out a special code when you host lobbies and in order by mail just invite those into your lobby so you don't get repeats. it would be nice for those hwo can't play cause of people rejoining your lobby

Well you shouldn't have a need for an X-Factor button, if you choose to use the default type A set up [with the exception that L2 is L] you should be able to X-Factor using your R2 [LMH] and press S whereever it may be on your pad, with my set up though, you'd press L1, L2 and S at the same time to get X-Factor. Hope that helps!

Saw your title is 'pad warrior', so I'm assuming you play on pad; how do you have your buttons set up to allow you to charge buster shot (I think that's the name, I don't play Zero)? I've just started and I use Vergil, but have a hard time charging his sword to incorporate into combos.

I hope Max doesn't get disheartened with the PS3 version, but just to help him understand, it isn't the console that sucks when it comes to the connection's condition. It's some of the players that have such a crappy ping that hurts the flow of the game. For the most part, I've played online with my PS3 from Mexicali, Baja California and I can corroborate this due to experience. Max, don't feel salty for what you have to put with with some of those guys. Yo Videogames, bro!

No. If he did any super he would have been screwed. Wesker could have X-factor punished any supers or block strings that Nova would have done.
