In this video I head down to southeastern Ohio to get a jump start on deer season. Well, things never go as planned!

I tried messing around using a garden tractor on my food plots but you can never mow them high enough and keep the tractor running is what I found. Even after trying 2 or 3 different ones. I just take the tractor and bush hog each time to mow my plots. I look forward to seeing how well the grass out works for you and the water hole as well. I had good success with grass out but it takes a long time to work. Around 20-30 days before the grass started to actually die out Keep up the hard work and content!

Yeah, I would just use a bush hog on the tractor...but its such a challenge to get the tractor up the hill...id have to do it twice...once with the bush hog....then once with the tiller...but it might come to that. Thanks for watching!

Nice to see you back online. It has been a while and I was just thinking about your channel last week. I was going through my list of channels that I follow and looking at my deer hunting channels and saying that it should be just about time for some updates to start happening. Low and behold here you are today with a new update. Property looks pretty overgrown for sure. Need to put some goats on that grass as they would have that all eaten up in a few days I bet...lol. Looking forward to seeing how that water hole works out for you. Maybe put a trail camera on it to see if anything is stopping to use it. Would be interesting to see. Good luck with this upcoming season and hope you don't see any trespassers on your land this season. Catch you on your next update.

Good to hear from you! Yeah, it's been a while...took some time enjoying life and doing a lot of fishing. Now I'm trying to get things back in order for deer season. Goats would have definitely helped me out this year! Lol. I plan to get a camera on that water hole next time I get down there...I have a feeling that's going to be a great spot. As always thanks for watching!
