That looked like a lovely weekend get-away 😀 My husband and I actually went through Sorrento briefly in mid May. We went for a driving holiday from Adelaide through western Victoria, and then caught the ferry from Queenscliff to Sorrento. We stayed with my sister and her husband at their holiday house/ retirement property near Wilson‘s Promontory in southern Gippsland 😊 (They mostly still live in Melbourne.) We didn’t have much time to look at Sorrento this time, as I was trying to navigate the roads to get to Gippsland; but have been there before and know that it is a beautiful spot. It didn’t look like you took the ferry 🤔 As we come from Adelaide, we are apprehensive about driving through Melbourne, and thought that taking the ferry was a good alternative to avoid the Melbourne traffic 😄
