Weekend Top 3 for July 27-28
It’s the last weekend of July and we have lots of summer ahead. What are you up to this weekend? My family is doing a fundraiser for their Scout Troop.
If you don’t have any projects or anything on your calendar and you are looking for something to do with your kiddos, our Weekend Top 3 is here for you. And also, some of these events are partners. We only partner with events and organizations that we can get behind, so please know that these activities whether they are partners or not, are approved by the FFTC team.

30th Annual ArtCar & ArtBike Parade @ Lake Harriet

Lyndale Park Rose Garden, 4124 Roseway Rd, Minneapolis, MN 55409, USA (map)
Everyday is a parade for ArtCars and Artbikes! Artists use the car and the bike as their canvas to create beautiful works of art! This is their special parade. Join the artists as they cruise around the lake on their mobile works of art!
Bike, ride or walk over to the Lyndale Park Rose Garden where the parade will begin or find a place around Bde Unma/Lake Harriet to watch the show!
Schedule:
4pm Line up at the Lyndale Park Rose Gardens. Line up viewing 5pm-6pm
5pm Parade/Cruise around Bde Unma/Lake Harriet
6pm Visit the Rose Garden to meet the artists and see the ArtCars & ArtBikes up close.

What kind of fun can you find at a county fair? Let me tell you. I know county fairs. 4H competitions, animals including horses, carnival rides, carnival games, Tractor pulls, and Demolition derbies, and live music. If the State Fair is a bit more than you can handle but you want to experience the fun of a fair, head to one of these County fairs!
It’s a beautiful weekend ahead of us-one way or another. Spend some time together and make a memory. You won’t regret being together. At least I don’t think you will!
