Thank you my love! Yaz to be honest with you, a teaching degree doesn’t guarantee you a higher salary. My offer beats offers of people who have teaching degrees. There are people who work at International schools WITHOUT teaching degrees. It does put you at an advantage, but it’s not guaranteed. China does things their own way, it depends on the school & what they’re looking for in a teacher, and some schools? Experience & qualification come second to personality & looks.

If you have a BEd, I would consider using it & that can be done in both countries. It all depends on which one you get into. Korea - International schools China - Private or International schools Hong Kong - Netscheme Taiwan - Public , Private & International schools Singapore | Thailand | Vietnam | Indonesia - International schools If you want to get a feel of what teaching abroad is like Korea or China is fine, I’m more of a Korea lover than China.

Yes it’s possible. In Korea we have remittance apps called HANPASS & GME, popular bank called HANA BANK has an English remittance app people used. I was able to transfer money to S.A with it, costs were really low like 5 000 KRW R68,78, your bank at home would then charge you a fee. Not sure how much FNB charged, but I doubt it was a huge cut. I saved money in my Hana USD account when I was in Korea. In China most people make use of people who do exchanges, you would have to check who the most trusted “agent is” it’s cheaper this way as banks in China take a huge chunk of your money if you go directly through them. There’s a remittance app called SKYREMIT though, have never used it but those who have said it works well, WISE transfer is another one you can also use to send one to S.A or FROM S.A. There are many ways to send money home, this will be the least of your worries when you’re abroad ❤️❤️❤️
