Happy it helps with your research , enjoy your trip! You can also include Honfleur, Etretat (just make sure to visit them early enough to beat the crowds!) and Le Havre, all are very close to Deauville/Trouville.

I loved Deauville although we were there on a very windy day and everything on the beach and most of the shops were closed. I am visiting Honfleur again shortly on a cruise day trip - I love it there. Hoping to get to Le Havre as well.

We always stay in Deauville, because it is easier to reach from Paris, plus we really like the local beach. Honfleur is very beautiful, but we found it to be more crowded than Deaville. In any case, Honfleur is definitely woth a visit!
