A rare look at a season 2 Chevy appearance. We often mis-remember that Chevy left the show after the first season; but really he was there for the first couple of months of the second season.

So is this really from 1976? I am way too young to know any of what they are referencing
@carinej81637 жыл бұрын
some of the things they referred to are pretty big historical events. The death of the chinese leader was very historically significant. The hijacking of the plane by the croatians was also significant.

B. D. He was the lead singer of a band called the Dead Kennedy’s

Well Kennedy you should know about. Everyone learns about that in history class (I was born 12 years after this episode aired for clarification. Everything else i'm only vaguely aware of).

Sigrid heinzendorf ich haben eine berliner mit mien lederhosen; which if my German is half as good as the travel guide salesman said his book is, I'm sure you understand. Afterall it couldn't be as bad as the Italian guy's... Who knew I tuoi occhi sono splendente che la cielo di notte meant something completely different than let's all go mastrabate with sand in our hands? Try to tell someone they have pretty eyes... I tried that in Russian once...She threw a vacuum at me. How was I to know gde ybanye meshke is a very vulgar way of asking for a vacuum? See, this is the problem as I see it: hundreds of languages all over the planet, but none that translate between neanderthal and woman that an old man could articulate.

Chevy's hair was going - so he was doing the comb over and not washing his hair daily because when he did wash his hair he would see lots of fallen hair in the drain of his shower. Now Chevy looks like Dick 'Cheney.

Interesting, so there can be a funny Weekend Update where all the jokes aren't about the president? While Trump jokes are funny the comedic diversity has dropped sharply since the election
@dfense4347 жыл бұрын
Aiden Losh people also accepted the president then too. Now they cry , pout, and protest.

Well, when the president acts like a clown it's easy to write jokes about him.

I'm not calling for a ban on trump jokes, just find more comedic diversity. Tons of crazy things are going on every day but apparently none of them are good enough for SNL.
