And he will continue to be grassroots in the general unlike Warren. If Bernie hadn't been grassroots funded in the last election, you can bet Warren wouldn't be in this one (as she raised big money in her last senate campaign). So if you are someone who praises Warren for raising £24 million in this quarter from the grassroots, you have to thank Bernie for that.

@DialZForZero For me, current Bernie is Bernie 3.0 - and if he wins, it would be worth the loss last time. New parts of his platform include #HousingForAll which would end homelessness, forgiving 100% of student loan debt, #M4A covering gender reaffirming surgeries, and cancelling all medical debt. In 2016, although Bernie's environmental policies were good, he has now moved to where he needs to be in mapping out the Green New Deal - in 2016 the Green New Deal was only really being spoken about by Jill Stein (so she should get so much credit for that). These new policies will completely transform the lives of those who are most in need. It isn't a matter of being tired of Warren - it is about record and policies. If you are on the left, Bernie is just empirically better on both record and policy, for example in the policies I listed above. The frustration with the media push of Warren comes from knowing their motive for doing so. They like the status quo (because they are exceptionally wealthy, and they have powerful advertisers to keep happy) and the people want/ need change. So MSM undermine and smear the candidates that will help the people and will hold big money interests accountable, and they prop up candidates who will do tweaks around the edges but not shake up the system (i.e. deliver the real fundamental change that people desperately need). This is what MSM has done for ages, so when they push Warren forward, it is a red flag for many people. She is better than the vast majority of candidates, but for me, on policy and record, Bernie is better. In my opinion, nominating Bernie is an incredible opportunity that the people and the planet cannot afford to miss. There isn't enough time left to elect a compromise candidate.

@@elephantmarch I mean it's true. She's just a worst version of Bernie on almost every issue. I can agree with ending the filibuster, but I think Bernie is better overall and I know where he stands much more clearly than I do with Warren. Bernie's convictions are clear as day and he has shown time and time again his dedication to them. If Bernie was for ending the filibuster and decriminalization of all drugs he'd be near my perfect policy platform. He raised more than Warren as well, even if he isn't getting the media darling treatment Warren is getting right now.
