Those flowers were just gorgeous!! Mark ,about the heat.My mum falls in the older age group ,and last year suffered from dehydration ,so I watch her like a hawk.Also ,a lot of ppl assume ,if you`ve arthritis or any muscle/joint condition ,the heat`s great!Well ,I`m the miserable kill joy here to say it`s given me the worst (fibro) flare up in months.No sleep ,can`t face eating ,and as for getting outside ,it has to be an emergency.Sorry guys ,because knowing the UK it`ll probably not last too long ,but ,for me the cool winds/breeze and clody skies can`t come quick enough.Please look out for nanny Di.Sending her lots of love.Xx

I feel for you only having fans to cool you off! Hope it doesn't last long and it gets back to YOUR normal soon! Pressure washing is so much fun -- I have one just about exactly like that! I need to do my whole fence and driveway, but it's just been too hot. Nads, you look like you really got into it -- I was ready for you to start doing it INSIDE the house!! Ha! Be careful with fans, particularly if you have asthma and allergies, big piece in the press this week, they circulate all the dust, detritis, pollen etc and particular problems can occur at night as they dry out the mucous membranes and eyes. I swear by fans, particularly in this weather, but just be careful with your health.
