Congrats on 30K Leilani! Your vlogs are always so chill and relaxing to watch. Glad you had a good time going out. 😊 I totally understand what you mean about the voiceovers and looking at your face for too long while editing videos, lol. I am also trying to do things a bit differently on my channel too with voiceovers, texts, talking in front of the camera and etc and it’s a lot work! I think as a content creator myself, it’s good to mix up from time to time so you don’t get burned out from sticking to one style or way of doing things. I think a mix of talking and text and voiceovers is a good balance! Also depends on how much you need to focus. I find that if I need to focus on recording and getting the camera to focus on the item I am showing in the video then I won’t talk during those parts. I am also kind of iffy about talking in front of the camera out in public as I have gotten stares from people as if I am crazy and need to check in the mental hospital 🤣

A mix of voiceover and text is good. Just not too tiny text in a color that blends into the background at times because my grandma eyes just can't with that 😅 But that pirate song part 😂
