Use an upturned pot for your tree. It’ll give it the best stability and then cut a disc from a cardboard box with a slit to pass the stem of the tree. It will give you a good surface to cover with your moss. You could glue it in place to create less mess and movement. X

I love my dehumidifier 😂 it’s brilliant. As you say drying the laundry indoors is helped enormously by using it. Best purchase I’ve made in months.
