Hey Macy, I can absolutely relate to what your feeling and as someone a little older now just know this is so normal. No one prepares you for the reality that lots of working life is actually quite boring and incredibly tiring and the not being with friends/peers around the work is so so hard. I really struggled leaving university and the first 2 years were very difficult but everyone I talked to felt the same struggle with it all. It does get easier and you do adapt so go easy on yourself. My tips would be: don't count on your work to be 100% fulfilling it just won't be. Make those plans for evenings and weekends, they will save you on the extra hard days. Nailing the food side of life makes it easier to have the energy to do fulfilling things outside of work (took me yearsss to learn that one with meal prep/bulk cooking) and take it 1 year at a time (5 year plans/life plans just don't work in this day and age). I hope this somewhat helps?!.... Hope you're having a good day, love from the UK xx

I've had this video on my watch later Playlist for a couple of weeks now because usually these are nice and calming to put on when I'm going to sleep, but this video did some things I wasn't expecting! I'm really glad that you're being open about these feelings because yes, this is a super normal thing to go through but no one really talks about it because....its boring! And it's really only something that's bothersome and at the front of your mind for a year or two during the transition into adult life and then before you know it, it's just life. But it's also exactly why people usually look back on college as being a blast. It will get better, you'll start to develop a better understanding of what you're missing now and how to input it back into your life in a meaningful way. You got this, girl!

wow I sometimes forget how young you still are because you always seem so mature! I also graduated like a year ago. I'm from Germany so our school and university systems are a little different and we often do our bachelor and master degress back to back so to speak, so I was around 28/29 when I was finished with my masters and started working but I totally can relate to what you were saying. what really helped me was to take the time and let me "grief" this phase of my life that came to an end and was for so long such a defining part of me. starting work does change so much and it honestly just takes time to kinda find yourself in this new phase again. it takes time (and effort haha) to cultivate new routines, learn your values around work and get to know the needs you have like getting to move your body regularly or having enough time to rewind in the evenings - whatever it may be. ON TOP OF THAT our twenties are the time where we still have so much to figure out, we are growing constantly, experiencing love, loss, what it means to f*ck up and grow up and become responsible. as I said in the beginning - I often forget how young you still are, you just started your twenties. you will figure it out, I'm so sure you will, from what I see you are doing an amazing job with that already :)

I relate to everything you said about post grad life. Biggest tip, don’t make work your purpose. Find it outside of work/your job because in case a layoff happens it won’t feel like your identity is being taken. Also on a lighter note: I LOVE that rent the runway dress. I rented it and have not forgotten how cute and flattering it is. You look super cute!
