WEEKEND VLOG |SCONES FAIL | grand babies sleepover + we're going away

Spend the weekend with us, the kids are staying over. Me and Ava make scones, they didn't go as planned but tasted lovely still. It's that time of year again, when me and Martin go away for our anniversary, so I'm prepping for that.

Leanne your Grandkids are so beautiful. Loved the scone making with Ava. Here is a super quick 3 ingredient recipe for scones that come out huge and so light and airy. Sift into bowl 3 cups of Self Raising Flour. Add 1 cup of Fizzy Lemonade Add 1 cup of Cream Mix together gently until just combined Turn on floured bench and just pat out with your hands and then use the cutter. Place on baking sheet close together touching. Lightly brush with milk Bake on 180 C for around 12 minutes. They come out huge. Hope you try it out. xx

Lovely vlog, the grandkids are so sweet. I agree with what you say about marriage, the good days are good and the bad days are awful but if you hang in there you settle into something worth having. Martin is a keeper, he's a good man. I wish I had a dad like him.I feel that I am the fortunate one for having found you. It is a joy to peak in on your life. I only have one friend and only see her once a month because we live about 50 miles from each other but I feel I've found a friend in you.
