This dreaming pup just made my DAY! We have been struggling with eating out, too. This time of year is just so BUSY! Oh my gracious. I have a new found appreciation for my car insurance! Your car insurance goes up. Because of where you live if the city you live is prone to a lot of accidents your car insurance goes up.

Multiple factors affect your insurance…where you live, whether you use your car to commute to work over a certain mileage, inflation, cost of car repairs and labor for those car repairs, your driving history, whether or not you’ve had claims (even a windshield chip repair can make your insurance increase and claims are now on your record for 5 years versus the previous 3 years). Insurance carriers take the money paid in premium for clients and use it to fund a large pool to pay out for accidents, etc. If an insurance carrier has to pay funds out due to an accident (or a natural disaster) the money has to be replenished, otherwise they would go broke. My car insurance increased by 50% this last year (clean driving records, no tickets, no claims) and I shopped my rates - I was still best with my insurance carrier but it never hurts to shop every couple of years.
