I loooovvvveeee most of his decks.. I fell in love immediately after I purchased the first one. I'm a Scorpio so I resonated automatically.. Scorpio's naturally faces their shadow side and others.. We rule the underworld along with other thangs.. We can live underwater as well as on dry land. These cards truly helped me on my tarot learning journey! Thank you for sharing your thoughts.. Kali Da Venom Goddess omg me too! 🦂🦂I wasn’t even interested in tarot cards. I knew nothing about them. I randomly decided I NEEDED one and purchased this about an hour later. Like my hands were itching for this deck and i feel like I’ve been reading cards my entire life

Recently purchased this deck. It’s absolutely gives deep, intense readings. Definitely good for shadow work. If you are not ready to face deep inner truth’s then I wouldn’t recommend this deck for readings. It’s an amazing divination tool for deep reflection. The book is really more about the artists journey of creating the deck, it’s not necessary per say, but if one wants dive deeper into the creators mind and help asses the symbology behind the creation of the artwork then the book is worthwhile.

The Deviant Moon was a hard no from me, too, for a long time. Then Patrick included free cards of it when I ordered other things from him, and the colors and textured art were so much more compelling than I expected. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it! I have the Illuminated Earth Oracle, too. I got it before it was all over YT but haven't worked with it much yet. It did help me clarify a tarot reading this week, though, which is always cool! Have fun with your new week of decks!

I love the DM. I am so happy to see the "Old G's" getting so much love. While I adore the Rebel deck, I agree one has to be in the right place or frame of mind to enjoy it. My students love to pull a card after an intense session. I am still on the fence about the Textured Tarot and yet I am in love with the Illuminated Earth oracle.

Hi Lisa ! Just like you I really thought that the Deviant moon would not be for me but I deceided to give a chance since I usually creepy stuff ! But as soon as I open the box and shuffle it I knew it is one right for me… I also ordered the Mildred pocket and planned to get more from the artist ! I am totally in love with it now ! Ohhh, I have the Textured Tarot in the postal system at the moment - so looking forward to getting my mitts on it! I hadn't realised there was a same-sex couple in the deck (I'm avoiding walkthroughs until I've seen all 78 cards for myself), that makes it extra relatable and awesome!

Hehe I totally gushed that way after spending my first weekend with the Deviant Moon. Completely surprised the hell out of me. I immediately purchased and devoured the accompanying book...so worth it!! These two new ones Look beautiful! I am looking forward to seeing your pics and would you think of them next week!

LISA When the DM first came out I felt the same as you, I said OMG I could never read with such a strange creepy Deck. No less read with some else. Well time went by and speaking to Our Simon and his Love for the DM. I said I'll give it a shot we normally like the same types od decks .Just like you I started to read with it and to my surprise I started to develop a Love for the DM, and then also Brought the Book what a game changer that was then.The Book is so unbelievable it takes the Deck to another level. I now found that what I thought was Dark strange and weird, was really more lighter and quirky and with a twist our subconscious. The I work with it the more I love it .Thanks for another great video Love Caroline 💖💕💖

Caroline! :) I love that you had a similar experience to the DM. I looked at the book in person again this weekend at one of my local shops and ultimately decided not to pull the trigger., partly because i'm enjoying working more intuitively with the deck. I may pick it up one day though!

I can totally see why you might hesitate to use DM for readings. It's not for everyone. Glad that you had such an awesome experience with it! That Textured Tarot . . . I struggle so hard with that Knight of Cups in his booty shorts. But I love the rest of it!

Yeah lol the lack of pants in that card makes me giggle every time. But I like the way it represents his vulnerability (at least to me)

I have the DM and I agree it reads well...but I still struggle with the artwork at times...it has something about it that if you are not in the right mood it can hit you hard( in my opinion)...therefore I wouldn't use it for clients either...saying that when my partner -who is not into Tarot- saw this deck he thought that it looks great and he really liked the characters! I like the look of the Texture Tarot and the Illuminated Earth oracle but I don't think they would be the decks I would reach for very often...so I'm glad I can keep them off my wishlist ..at least for now..lol

I think that the Deviant Moon Tarot expresses a lot of anger towards the human body and it refuses to be beautiful, it’s ugly because it’s angry. I think that it would suit people who also feel great anger in general.

Heaven knows that I dont mind creepy, per se. I have Halloween and All Hallows, I just got Shadowscapes, and have Phantasmagoric Theater and Raincoast ordered. I just don't like Deviant Moon. To each their own, that's why there are a zillion decks out there.
