Thank you John and happy new year to you. I think your forecast uses a weekly update of the hedgedash rankings. Does hedgedash have a daily update of the rankings & if so, would that be useful for day trading forex?

HNY Howard 👊 Yes the performance metrics update daily and personally speaking I'd struggle to trade without it. You have to have a portfolio selection process when trading, it's absolutely vital whether that's Hedgedash or your own one. The benefit of Hedgedash of course is its algorithmic so it saves a lot of time and means you can focus solely on the trade execution instead of preparation each day 👍

What is that indicator that shows the ranges?

Its part of the Hedgedash analytics platform used in the video. They are forwards looking, projected ranges for the week and they update each weekend. There are also levels for each day, month, quarter and year which also update automatically 👍

Hi John thanks for the weekly show it's so useful. Why is the swissie not such a haven currency these days especially when there's a flight to safety during inflation? I was also watching your video of about a month ago last night entitled : " The Japanese Yen is Set for a Massive Move" and I know that move in which the carry trade shorts followed by a reversal to the upside was precedented on the BOJ rate hike in December which they didn't do and held steady. However I notice after NFP yesterday there was somewhat a strengthening of the JPY ( presumably a flight to safety) and the BOJ has been making noises about a rate hike Friday Jan 24th. Could this massive strength in the yen that you warned about be happening now? If yes why haven't you considered it as a long play as I notice the hedge dash algo at the beginning of this video seems to think that would be a good idea?

Great questions, firstly because its an inflationary regime, not a deflationary crash, Chf is selling off because it has lower inflation relative to other economies so the central bank can ease sooner than other countries. The JPY video was about the fact that the BOJ are going to have to hike sooner or later and when they do, it can cause another Jpy shock like it did last time. You're right they delayed it in December so currently JPY is still struggling. But again, they can't hold off forever and I think JPY can gather real strength once Dxy takes out its prior highs and probably stalls out. Just my working theory but of course it needs updating as new inflationary comes in over Q1 👍
