My poppies are blooming! Larkspur are close! I don’t have quite the sun and show you have but for the first year, I’m thrilled! I’m hoping they spread! Looking forward to Saturday 💐

Hi Brie, beautiful garden. Could you advise me how to germinate the larkspur? I learned how to sow poppies from you. My garden has beautiful poppy blooming now.

The process for larkspur is the same as poppies. Larkspur tutorials are included in the how to grow poppies playlist 💚

yard is going to be gorgeous Saturday. Question about the large Cryptomeria (Yoshino ?) that frames the left side of your house directly behind the Don Egoff Red Bud. Was that already there when you and David bought your house, or has that grown that fast? I get side tracked on your videos with my love of Conifers.🙂

Yeah that’s just a Yoshino that was a rooted cutting back in 2010 planted as a 1 gallon in 2011. I don’t love it- it’s a messy tree but in the early years it did a good job screen the neighbors back deck. Now it’s tall, sucks up every drop of water and constantly drops dead material from the inside. I will probably have it cut down sooner than later.
