Hi Hannah, sauces you might consider for the tortellini are a parmesan, butter, salt and pepper combo, or a tomato, garlic, herbs and onion for marinara sauce. Other less standard ones you could do are a cheese sauce like for macaroni, a basic butter, garlic and herb, or a garlic, pine nuts, olive oil, basil, Parmigianino and salt for pesto. I have confidence you will rustle something up that is a success cos you know everyone's taste well and you are an excellent mum. Hope you like the Brussel spouts you were hunting for, dont know how they taste out of season so let us know if possible. My weight went down so they might send me back to hospital for some nutrition if I cant manage to do in myself, 😞sadly so I'll check back some of you pack lunch video to find some easy ideas maybe thanks. x

I hope you manage to get your weight up without needing a hospital stay. I struggle too and mine has gone down slightly so i am going to have to work hard to fix it asap aa i have obviously taken my eye of the ball . Px

Hi Hannah, i do a pasta dish which i call Pasta Throw In, i just throw anything in with the pasta, i sometimes throw in bacon,onoin,tomatoes,mushrooms,peppers , when all cooked mix all together then add grated cheese mix well in then serve up and enjoy xx

A creamy Carbonara sauce would be great on that pasta. Lovely shopping once again.

Up here (in the north east) if your nose is itchy we say that you are going to get vexed! I would not put a sauce on the pasta as you will not appreciate its taste. I would drain it, then toss it lightly in (proper) butter, or extra virgin olive oil or betterstill as it makes it rich without adding flavour, cold pressed rape seed oil. Great haul. I often see comments that you can't get all your shop in Aldi, what a nuisance. I am impressed that Hayley got to personally meet her new Deputy Head, I have never heard of that happening. How lovely is that!

Thank you for the tips. Ye because it's a specialist school there is only 48 students in the whole school so teachers are very hands on and close to the students x

Hi Hannah. For the chicken and bacon tortellini, I think a white sauce would go with it or as you said a nice tomato sauce.

Fab Shop Hannah. Did my food shop at Aldi yesterday. The smoothies are my sons favourite. Pop some of your grapes in the freezer and you get yummy "sweets". I don't buy any meat from Aldi as I buy halal meat but i do buy salmon and cod from Aldi. Loving the shopping uploads. Enjoy the sunshine and stay hydrated (With those Volvic waters that you bought not long ago👍👍😎😊)

My wife would do a white sauce for the pasta & I would do one of the tomato and marscepone sauces or like creamy sauces but that is my fave on anything lol

Sauce for tortilini I would do either a cheese sauce or a white sauce then sprinkle cheese on top after to serve I have also tossed it in butter as well to give it flavour you could also use a garlic butter to flavour as well or you can also melt cream cheese like a garlic cream cheese I have done that as well with freshly ground black pepper and that is tasty too hope this gives you ideas lovely. Great shopping haul hope your doing ok after all the crap you have had to deal with 👍
