Congratulations for completing the 50km. 🎉 So inspiring and goes to show that the idea of one specific day being the “only day” to do something is such a limiting concept. I love how you adapted and found a way to make it work for you. ❤ Lots of love.

very true! there are so many ways to reach the same goal! especially with tickets to races being quite expensive, it's a big lesson that if I just call up a few friends I kind make the experience just as special 💗

So impressed with your 50 KM event! as a runner I can say doing it alone is incredibly difficult. Your attention to recovery is impressive too. Thanks for sharing this, i am inspired by you and your accomplishment

so proud of you, nina!! not least because you completed the 50km (which is insane??) but you also adapted and made it happen despite unexpected circumstances. seeing you achieve your goal after so many months of watching you train felt so special. thank you for bringing us on this journey with you

Sydney seems so lovely!! Also woooo 50km 🎉 I like that you switch it up in your vlogs (reading, cooking, exercise) 😊

Congrats on the 50km! We've been so spoiled with these weekly videos - I see the notification pop up and actively choose to only watch the video later so I can savour it slowly with a coffee in hand 😊 You've created such a beautiful corner of the Internet (and in Sidney, looking at the lovely things you do there by yourself or with friends!), thank you for always being so open, vulnerable and kind and sharing it with us! Much love from Berlin 💖

you're one of the only "lifestyle" youtubers i can watch, especially when im in my current mental state (notttt good). i often feel like im not doing enough watching other more aspirational vlogs, but something about your combination of words of wisdom, always a focus on balance, whilst still being very nice to watch visually. very grounding and reassuring. so impressed you did the 50km without the external pressure of the race and other people around you! i am doing my first ever half marathon next week (not a runner really, or maybe slowly becoming so), i'm excited but feel i havent trained as much as i should when i see other runners on the internet following such strict plans. so i'll just try my best and get it done whatever the pace! we shall seeee.

you sort of show me how i can be in the future once i've worked through some of my shit. i'm newly 24 so definitely get big sister energy from you
@whitneymuchira47138 ай бұрын
@revolutionlover don't stress much about not training as much as other people have, you've done the best you could have, under your current circumstances, I also run half marathons every year, still not a runner, no strict training,but I still do alright 😂, rooting for you!!!!❤

hello my friend!! thank you so much for such a lovely comment 💗 first off, if you're running you're a runner!! there's not much else to it, I promise. The other thing is that I wasn't able to follow my training plan for the last 3-4 weeks. Due to travel, getting sick and then being massively depressed, my longest run for this training plan was way below what it had to be. My friend told me that it is 100% better to arrive at the start line feeling fresh than feeling overtrained anyway, this gave me some relief. SO!! As I say in the video, show up to the start line and go from there! The way I was able to manage expectations and get over the disappointment of not following through with my training plan, and the nerves, was to just take it easy and try to complete it to the best of my ability -- as you said. it worked a treat. I just try and remember that I do this for fun! for my mental health! for a little challenge! I'm not getting paid for it, and no one is depending on me to finish it at a certain time, so I can take it easy and try to enjoy myself as much as possible. PROUD OF U!!! U WILL SMASH IT!!! WE R RUNNERS!!!

@@nina.montagne that makes it all the more impressive you went and did it!! you're a legend but yeah I've tried to get into running a few times in my life and always hated it. i think what's different this time is that im Actually doing it for my own enjoyment above anything, obviously it's challenging too, but using it as a way to explore the area I've recently moved to (many fields, sheep and mud so not much choice for other hobbies having been a city dweller my whole life) and not put pressure on being speedy as fuck! not clue why im rambling away in youtube comments, maybe a sign i should seek actual human interaction. anyway!!!!! thank you:)
