I am not getting your question my friend. Why do you have to explain to anyone that trading is not a scam. If they think this way - you can't change their opinion, cuz very likely they've never done it OR they haven't succeeded with it. I never explain myself or try to prove others wrong or convince them of what I do. I give 0 cares :D

Gambling is not based on a market analysis or on a consideration of fundamentals, unlike trading.

Trading CAN be dangerous if You take too big risks. But go ahead and open 10-20 trades in demo or simulation, rinse and repeat, get consistent results over some weeks and months, follow fundamental business and market assessments... Etc. Look for the possible worst case scenarios based on historic rapid moves, avoid being in market during news and always have a stop loss which covers big losses from happening . If You set the rules of Your trade right, You cannot be truly surprised by the market. Technical analysis is very easily explainable through concepts of Fair Value. That's all, but don't take big risks, e.g. big leverage, cause it's really hard to recover from big drawdowns. Imagine You went 50% down, next You would need to 100% Your trading account JUST to break even to Your starting point. but otherwise You do You ❤ don't let someone drag You down irrationally
