Under 1500$ -2k something that’s a solid investment at this point and will always be worth what I pay for it ? Maybe a Tudor oyster. Or something similar

@@koipondvideos6962 realistically there are very few pieces that will ever turn a profit from an investment standpoint.I kind of go out of my way to say that watches are poor investments overall (Although there are some exceptions). If you plan to keep the piece longterm, any profit usually gets killed due to inflation. In your case if you want to maximize how far your dollar goes just look for the best deals around and try to buy low and sell high if you want to see a return. I guess my question would be, are you looking to sell it down the road and hope for a long term investment or do you just want the best piece your dollar can buy in that price range that will be a lifelong companion on your wrist?

Yea I’m basically asking cuz I feel right now it’s still obtainable to find something from 2008 easily that’s nice and high quality and with that in mind I don’t know if later in life I’ll be able to find a rare price from 2008 with in mind that item is probably at a low point cuz of age and not quit as scarce yet and probably available even tho rare But you thinking buying locally is better ?

@@koipondvideos6962 for sure it's easier right now to find watches from 2008 that are still in good condition and since it's only been 13 years since 08 there's going to be way more of them floating around now as opposed to 20 years from now. Same deal with cars. If you can find items locally that's awesome but it really comes down to what you're looking for.
