Hey, thank you for the shout-out, Jenn, happy to be aboard and support the channel! Lessons With The Mothman: I like erotic books, but sometimes it isn't as rewarding as the longer wait is, which is what I prefer in many of the books I read. However, hearing that one of Mothman's goals is to get Victoria to trust him enough to allow him to help her "get there" is something that tugs at my heart. I'll be getting this one. The Apple Tree: Charming forbidden age gap. I swoon for those. Those are my thing. TWs need to be included, period. I don't mind any of them, but some people do care, or at least want to be warned beforehand. Onyx Storm: I've heard great things about the first two books in this series, so I need to pick up the hardcovers and audiobooks of these. Another awesome video, Jenn!

Julia!!!! I dug through my comments to find you, because I don't know if you're on instagram or not. BUT, I was going through my Book rec form, and I saw a rec from you for Fight by Sloane St, James. It got me all excited, because I WILL be reading these!! I have been eyeing them up for sure, and then I found out I will be reviewing the audios of the whole series. So that's why I haven't read them yet. So anyway, sorry I had to stalk you here to answer you. haha! But, yeah. I'll be getting to them soon! :)

I loved the whole series, the found family vibes especially. I’ll definitely be reading more by these authors. Actually Paisley Hope, the author of the second book, has another called Wolf.e that was good too. (I gotta hype up my fellow Canadians!) And then there’s the dreamy cover art…. 😍😍😍 Can’t wait to hear what you think!

thank you for mentioning the TWs in The Apple Tree! ive read a couple of books from jewel e ann and although shes a great writer.. ive found her books to be not my cup of tea, im a low angst girl😅 they can sometimes be a bit too emotional/angsty or heavy for me.. as a teenager i used to love shocking/emotional plot twists but as an adult i appreciate a little warning tbh! even a word or two doesnt spoil the book but can help readers decide if they wanna dive into a book with heavy themes or not. 👍

I am excited to read High Sticking The Heart! 😊 …I enjoyed Onyx Storm and like you I read it for vibes and to find out what’s next. I feel this was more tame than Iron flame but still shocked at the events in it.

I really enjoyed Onyx Storm- although I have no idea what the overall reception of it is yet. I was in the minority of loving Iron Flame as well. 🤷‍♀️😊

I hated Onyx Storm. It read like a fanfic with fan-service tropes and a new plot every 10 pages. Horrible

I’m with you onyx storm. I enjoyed it! I was debating between a 5 and 4.5 star but since I can’t pick I’m probably going 5. I enjoyed myself a lot reading it and I’m not knit picking too much. And since I rate based on enjoyment mostly it’s high. I also am not a fantasy reader so while others may feel a certain way I’m coming in with fresher eyes I suppose?? Maybe fresher is the wrong word. I just haven’t been exposed to fantasy plots a whole ton. I don’t know the general feelings of readers towards this book overall but I’ve seen a few negative ones and I’m like… did we read the same book? lol
