to keep the cast iron skillets from rusting when you wash them, dont let them air dry! dry it off with a towel and rub olive oil on it to prevent the rusting!! so just rewash it and oil it up and you good girll🫶🏽

Hey, Khia. With those case iron pan, you have to seasoning it mean you have to keep it greased with oil all the time so it want rust. Everything you use it wash it out put some oil in it and rub it all round and leave it alone until you use it again.

For your cast iron skillet. You can’t clean it with soap or it will rust. You should clean it with salt and water the salt will exfoliate the pan and the water will clean it. Dry it with a paper towel, and put it on a warm stove to dry it fully. That way the water won’t rust it. Then you get a little oil and wipe it down to seal it and it will be good as new. I had to learn because of course I clean all of my pans with soap. But that one’s a little different.

after you hand wash your iron skillets you need to dry them! then after add a little bit of olive oil or some cooking oil to prevent the rust. just a little bit though you don't need a lot!
