They used a nail to remove my nails, caused me so much pain & damage I haven’t been back to a nail shop for my nails since. It’s been about 3 months now. Found me a good tech with her own suite, & it’s been the best experience from nail care, to booking, the whole 9! These shops always wanna take the quick route at our expense!

I had my acrylic nails taken off the same way and it removed part of my nail down to the skin. At that point I removed all acrylic and went to dipping my own nails. Dipping my own nails was the best thing I could’ve ever done.

Wonderful Vlog Tajah ❤️ Love your maintenance vlogs and your hair looks so pretty. Yes, it’s amazing you enjoy church service 🔥pastor had a great service. Yes, start to soak off your own nails idk why nail shops take another nail to take off an entire set of nails. One time the nail tech did something similar to me, I told him that hurt he looked at me like I supposed to take that kind of pain. Seems like they want quick money instead of taking time out with each client to make sure old nail sets are taken off, that’s why companies created acetone and nail polish remover. Honestly, it’s best to get them to soak off just wait a few minutes more or find a personal nail tech.

Tajah…regarding your nail getting split, don’t take it lightly, it doesn’t have to be that painful I had the same experience with the woman who has been doing my nails for 8 years, every time when I’m changing the acrylic she use to be the same way like really rough while removing, it’s almost as if she was mad about it. She done got on my nerve really bad when she was hurting my skin with the nail file, I told her and she got a whole attitude, that was the last straw for me and her, she got me so mad that day I didn’t say a word to her I just didn’t go back to her. I went to the sane salon, got someone else remove my old acrylic and she was way more calm, way more attentive and I didn’t feel any pain. So I am hoping you can find someone else that will actually be patient and remove acrylics more carefully.
