But with God all things are possible. After 5 years of marriage, last year she gave birth to my handsome nephew all naturally. It was truly a miracle. Architect here-The stair risers should be painted in semigloss or gloss not flat so that shoe marks are not that continuous. Carpet in the bedroom is always my preference but pick a color that masks dirt like a creamish color with brown specs or a light gray with black specks- and of course limiting shoes

Shalom Jess! It does work! My sister-in-law tried it with both of her kids and my husband and I did it as well. We bought an all white NB onesie which we hung on the dresser so we would see it everyday, then we talked about the reality of having little baby things everywhere which led to us both having dreams of the baby at different times so I took it scripturally when having two or more witnesses to something makes it true and that's when I knew my baby would come soon and literally a while after that we were pregnant! The best way to describe it is acknowledging/bringing your child into existence spiritually before they're physically here and praying over them before they're in the womb and just setting your mind on them and knowing that Love creates life so speak them into life!!❤

We have carpet upstairs & hardwood down stairs. Love it! Downstairs is easy to clean with hardwood because that’s where all the traffic is but upstairs is only for the residents ONLY. lol so it works out perfect!

From a functionality perspective hardwood it’s best because hygienic, easy to clean and keeps the value of your home. I would get a large rug where you want carpet if you love the feel. Re-staining the upstairs hardwood is also an option. For the stair steps a glossy back splash or porcelain tile is a great alternative for repainting the steps white all the time. Hopefully that helps!!

We got carpet in our upstairs rooms. It’s 15 years old. We don’t wear outside shoes up there. Carpet last a longer than what he told you in less traffic areas of the home.

Jess - when you put those ponytails in, I instantly laughed & said that is giving Rugrats vibe. The scarf was saying "I'm a queen". The jeans on jeans is not a bad look! Pair it with those shoes or some nice white tennis shoes. That Maybelline mascara made me want to go that! Those lashes were hitting. You did not need to get your lashes done. Great word Jonathan! Oh and Jess carpet can last for years if you have a good cleaning schedule. We have a company that comes yearly and cleans the carpet and we have a shampooer to do it in between when needed. Good luck and whatever flooring you pick

We still have carpet in the Midwest and we do not replace every 3-5 years. It depends on your proactive maintenance like vacuuming and spot treatment if you spill or track something into your home. I have a mix of LVP and carpet throughout my home. There are carpet cleaning companies that make carpet look brand new when you need them.

How about starting to fix your baby’s room. Start with clearing out the room or space that your baby would sleep and paint the walls the way you would as if you found out you are expecting. Start thinking of what you would name him/her…etc

I’ve had both carpet and wood throughout my house before. I highly prefer carpet. For some reason walking on wood makes my ankles hurt lol, and YES the footprints are a problem, and slipping and sliding when I put on Vaseline. With carpet, it’s easier to warm up the house during cooler seasons, and it’s just more comfortable 🤷🏾‍♀️ I have a shoe holder at the front door and will be getting a mat with a cute, but firm statement to 🗣️ take yo shoes off! Cleaning really isn’t that bad for me but I also don’t have a ton of traffic.

Hi Jess! We have carpet in our master bedroom and then in the other bedrooms upstairs. I highly suggest the thick carpet padding, I think it’s 1/2in-its soooo luxurious feeling under the feet. We have a Kirby vacuum to keep our stored cleaned.

I definitely have carpet in my bedrooms. We have hardwood everywhere else, but it's shoes off when ppl enter. Carpet is not that hard to clean. Unless you're eating in your bedroom, you probably won't have stains on your bedroom carpet. I need a warm floor when I get out of bed

I am confused about who did the floors...but after you did the, they look great! Love the insert of "A good man!" i did the same as you Jess. I bought jeans at the thrift shop to size up/Odd Job has shorts like Walmart because I did not need fancy just to kick around the house. But I absolutely refuse to keep going up in size, but I feel more comfortable. I don't like "skin tight" jeans/pants. I went on a diet challenge (which Is really a lifetime journey) with a youtuber named BodyforDays. I was being careless with my eating and being in nursing school. I found I was sitting a lot.

Hey Jess❤🤗!!! Carpet has a tendency to trap dust mites that can affect some folks with allergies. As a result, I only have waterproof carpet in my basement. I have wood floors in all of the other rooms.
